Cannizaro Art in the Park

Sunday 17th September saw the return of Art in the Park to Cannizaro Park and House Wimbledon.
This free one-day event was sponsored by EQ Investors, an award-winning team of chartered financial planners and investment experts, and supported by the Friends of Cannizaro Park, Kings College School, Wimbledon and Viking, the world’s leading exploration company whose UK offices are based in Wimbledon.
The main route and sculpture trail through the park took visitors from the Aviary, towards the Diana Statue, down Maple Avenue and then back up to the Main Lawn. Practical art activities for all ages with workshops and demonstrations were centred around the Keir and Tennis Court Gardens. All had a focus on engaging with the beautiful surroundings of the park.
The Cannizaro Art Studios were open to visitors and an Art Fair featuring the work of local artists and makers took place on the carpark and lawns in front of Cannizaro House, facing Wimbledon Common.
