Painting and drawing
Drawing from the landscape is at the heart of my work. I am very fortunate that these beautiful ancient trees grow in my local park in south London.
Often I’m more interested in revisiting the same place to see how it changes over time, recording the weather, growth of trees and plants, and the effect of the seasons.
My charcoal drawings become a catalyst for my abstract paintings, representing the joy I feel when surrounded by nature.
