Kate Appleby
Sculpture and drawing
Kate Appleby is an artist who lives and works in Wimbledon. Her practice consists of sculpture and drawing, often taking inspiration from nature that she encounters.
Kate is one of four artists selected for a YWA (Young Wimbledon Artists) Artist in Residence at The Wimbledon Museum.
Throughout the residency the artists will use the @normanplastowgallery as a working studio on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons when the Museum is open to the public.
A collaborative group exhibition and public event showcasing the research and work made during the residency will be displayed during the Wimbledon Arts Trail.
