I am an artist based at Wimbledon Art studios, where I have had a studio for the last four years. At the heart of my practice is nature, painting animal portraits with botanicals. I am also obsessed with colour and how colour combinations work together in harmony. I have been painting and drawing for most of my life, but after a career in finance and raising children, I had more time to dedicate to art, so getting a studio space was essential. I have absorbed myself in experimenting with colour, and I draw inspiration from nature, most recently from birds, but previously from southern African wildlife. I have studied at Putney school of art, watercolours, pastels, drawing and oil painting. I have exhibited at many art fairs including Wimbledon art fair, in my studio, contemporary Art fair (Sandown Park), Roys art fair (Truman brewery), and Landmark Art fair (Teddington).
