Liesel Greig, embarked on her artistic journey amidst the vibrant landscapes of South Africa, fostering a deep appreciation for its flora and fauna. She studied Fine Art at Stellenbosch University, however, her love for adventure led her to finally settle in London, from where she has pursued a career in forensic auditing. After a lengthy hiatus, Liesel has recently rediscovered her joy for mixed media and oil painting in her free time. This return to her artistic origins symbolizes a heartfelt expression and reconnection with the natural world, where she finds solace and inspiration.

In Liesel's art, the dichotomies of her life converge - order and chaos, structure and freedom, logic and emotion. Whether capturing the whispering elegance of a solitary oak or the interplay of light through a misty mossy forest. Through dynamic composition and a bold colour palette, she invites viewers to explore the boundaries of perception and rediscover the innate beauty that surrounds them, forging a deeper bond with the Earth.
