Richard trained as an illustrator and worked in publishing as a designer before moving into digital consulting and app development. Richard has always been fascinated by the space where art and technology meet and over the last 20 years has been exploring digital art through devices such as the Nintendo DS and iPad.
Richard is specifically interested in capturing the human figure and understanding how digital painting can be seen as a legitimate media type. As such he is known for his digital life drawing and can be seen with his iPad at life drawing groups around London and his hometown of Brighton.
