Sharon studied at Camberwell College of Art, and has worked as an illustrator, designer and artist ever since. Observational drawing has always been central to her practice. She makes portraits of people, and of places, and finds herself disappearring down a rabbit hole of detail and gets lost in the immersive process of drawing. Sharon likes to explore the space where drawing and painting overlap. These drawings of Cannizaro Park were all made in the landscape, as part of a larger walking and drawing project that also included locations such as Wimbledon Common, Morden Hall Park and Kew Gardens.
