Mixed Media

Shirley's mixed media work is an experiment in the use of diverse materials to give a different view of landscape and intense scrutiny of enlarged sections of recent work that at first glance may appear abstract. Her clay sculptures are all based on life models, the forms simplified and finished in gesso and paint.
