Vanessa creates small batches of wheel-thrown functional ceramics alongside unique sculptural and decorative pieces. Her work is informed by her East Asian heritage, tying together a constellation of influences including Art History, Aesthetics, and Ceramic techniques that are evident in her thrown forms , carvings, and painterly glaze application.
